President Obama aired a new video, Vote 2010, on Monday.
He directed his time to encourage first time voters to return to the polls in 2010 to help in his transformation of America. After all, if it wasn’t for the Wall Street Bankers, those pesky insurance companies and special interest groups (you know the ones that donated to his campaign or made special back room deals)then his work would be done. And what about your favorite special interest groups -the unions and trial lawyers?
Then he specifically directed his speech to African Americans, Latinos, and women (you know the only positive % that Rasmussen polls).
Mr. President, those people did not vote for you. They voted to fire George Bush. And yes they will vote again in November but more and more of them are opening their eyes to bills unread, budgets unmanaged, and manufactured lies.
And what about the rest of the people? I am quite sure I never heard a President speak to only certain groups as opposed to say ….his fellow Americans. But this is the typical Democratic groupthink identity politics.
With gas prices starting to rise once again the next target will be the rich oil companies, another demon, another Rahm crisis, another cap and tax bill to jam down our throats.
